Masterplan for Timber Processing Complex and Company Town.
A design for a Malaysian timber company included housing for workers and their families, a range of social, cultural, and commercial facilities, and a large plywood factory and timber mill. The project was meant to reflect the sustainable policy of the company and the plan features an abundance of green spaces, careful management of run-off and waste, a network of pedestrian and bicycle paths, and a variety of alternative energy devices. Housing is in both hostels and individual houses and these are aggregated in small villages to promote the growth of community life. Each of the houses is provided with a kitchen garden.
