Model City

NEW YORK, NY, USA, 1989

Model City was the first of an ongoing series of Urbanagrams and took the form of an Analogue Relief Plan (ARP). Meant to be an elastic representation of urban ideas, the model shows relations of near and far, solid and dense, built and unbuilt, green and blue, as well as suggesting other potential particulars of form, scale and place.
