New Town For Istanbul

ISTANBUL, TURKEY, 2012

A New Town For Istanbul Each year, the Graduate Program in Urban Design of the City College of New York travels to an urban site that is undergoing a revelatory form of transformation or stress and undertakes a project there, in collaboration with a local institution. In January of 2012, in cooperation with BIMTAS and the IMP, we visited Istanbul and began the process of designing a proposal for a new town on the shores of the Black Sea.
