WASHINGTON, D.C. 1994
We tried to - in form and materials - to capture something of extravagant purposiveness of wartime constructions. Although there are reminders of the real price of war, in retrospect the show seems too attractive, too reminiscent of boyish fascinations with planes and ships, and the elegant functionalisms of death.
